I've reached a steady point in this visual software I've been writing. It's simple, and complex. Emergent behavior drives a host of complex results that are all user customizable, and playable to some extent.

I would seriously like to check this out, but for some reason the batch won't execute. I tried disabling my firewall and antivirus (it seems you coded it in Java and my firewall policies are pretty strict about it, but regardless, I allowed it to run), but it still doesn't run for some reason.

Any ideas?

did you download it or try to run it in your browser?

i had someone else say they couldn't run it in windows either...not really sure how to fix that since i don't have a win machine...perhaps i just shouldn't have put that out.

I'll try to run it in my browser, but unless it runs as a standalone pop out application, it would make output to projector kind of tough. I'll see if I can get it to work another way. Appreciate the effort!

i haven't tried from a browser, i just wondered if that would be why your firewall would prevent it from working. i just got windows up and running here, so i am going to do some testing to see if i can make it work. i'll let you know what i figure out, if anything. : )

Please do.
My firewall is a combination proactive defense system. It alerts me to any system level events like installers, registry keys being modified, kernel access, etc. I have to set policies for everything including newly installed software. However, I let it have free reign with your program and I still get bupkis. Lemme know if you come up with anything. I'm going to be dicking around with my stupidphone trying flash the ROM to something stable. Ain't technology grand?

i built it in windows and it works (for me) now. i've reuploaded the zip file to my space-- re-download it and let me know if it works.
