All things broken

My world has been full of disasters lately:

My car has been broken (thought it needed a new alternator), and when I put a new alternator in it yesterday it broke down again in the Carl's Jr. drive-through. The guy working the drive-through gave me a jump and we managed to get the car back to my house.

I had a hard drive go bad a few weeks ago, which has since been reformatted. This means a lot of video work gone.

To top it all off, two days ago my monitor kicked it, so I'm going to have to sink some more into that.

And, my dad is bitching at me about not having a real job. Great.

Once I get my monitor situation fixed I'll try to put up some video clips of the noise show from last wednesday. There are so many things I should be doing, and so little functional equipment, so little functional me.

Would you like a somewhat ghetto art car to replace yr vehicle?

It runs fine,

albeit it is being stored in Oakland, CA which is somewhat of a drive

Perhaps, what's the deal with it? Do you have pictures? What make/model/year/etc?

Well the car is a 91 Toyota Corolla.

Runs fine, 120,000 miles, etc - however I think that the brakes are due for a catastrophic failure sometime in the next year, according to the mechanic dude.

The 'deal' with it is that it has glitter glued all over the hood, and the texture of the sides is a combination of 'Gorilla Glue' and paper towels. Amazingly, Gorilla Glue causes paper towels to become rock hard, believe it or not.

Also, the roof and hood have computer chips and random cannibalized pieces of electrical apparatus glued to them. It is mostly symmetrical in composition, and the overall visual effect is that of an early rejected prop from the original Star Wars produced by a low budget animation studio, all viewed in the height of a bad peyote trip.

I swear it is a *good* car. It is certainly unique.

Pictures may appear on the Burning Man website, eventually.

Actually, here is a picture of the car ---

But that was before all the crap got glued to it.

These things come in threes, right? I wouldn't count the thing with your dad 'cause parents are always bitching about something. So you should be set as far as disasters go for a while...

I left a monitor at my father's house in portland that I don't need. I'll email you my number and you can call if you want it.

how brilliant! this is your call to arms! xo.
go make something with your hands breathe confidence and move forth righteously.
there is nothing to be attested to with matters of the heart.
i've had a.d.d. luck for a long time. its only when things are broken that you get to stick them in the microwave.
once they meltdown and cool take that frisbee shit and throw it out.
dogs love to chase trouble.
and in turn, you get to win the lottery!
