My website has been completely overhauled. There isn't much new stuff up yet, besides the videos, but the design is spiffy. I still have some changes to make (font colors, adding more photos, etc), but this will do until I get back from Tokyo.

What will you do in tokyo? I'm here too & a friend of Cordis' if you need some pointers once you get here. Even if it's a short visit I can tell you some things to check out.

awesome. what's your contact info? i leave tonight and don't know what my internet/phone situation will be so if you can get that to me before 8 it would rock. i'd love to chill while i'm there. if not, leave it here or email me anyhow.

any friend of cordis' is a friend of mine, even if i'm not so good at keeping in touch with the fella.

Anyway, I live off the Chuo Line (about 20 minutes from Shinjuku by Rapid Express). If you need any help, holla. I have Wednesdays/Thursdays off and I get paid (finally) this Monday so I'll be able to do stuff. And stuff. Ha ha. Anyway, my advice is to take the rapid train from Narita to get to Shinjuku. It's hella expensive (like 40 USD or something) but it's easy and takes about 2 hours. Bring something to read. And be prepared to be tired but unable to sleep. How long you in the area for? What's on the agenda? Sightseeing/photography?

(Good Luck!)

Hey. I`m at an internet cafe in Shibuya. I spent last night after getting off my plane wandering with my friend Chris. First we went to a place called Spacecake in Ueno, then we ended up wandering around ni Shinjuko for the rest of the evening, eventually settling down on the sidewalk with some Japanese kids to drink beer and amuse ourselves with cultural and linguistic barriers. We`re supposed to hang out with them again tonight to go drinking. They showed us a great place to sleep, in the dumpster yard behind the shop they work in, Journal Standard. Are you not in Tokyo proper? As you may have guessed by the fact that we`re sleeping on the street, we`re slumming it and saving money, which is fun. I may not have the 40 dollars to spend on a train ticket if you`re not in town, but otherwise I`d love to get together at some point this week. I`ve no phone number, but I`ll try to give you a call tomorrow night to possibly arrange a meeting (under the previous caveat). It`s good to know I have a number of someone to call (who`s my age, and other Chris` father`s friend) who speaks english should we desperately need help as well. I`ll be in touch. Arigato, I look forward to meeting you.

Ii desu ne. I'm nearby & anyway, will be in Shinjuku on Wed. & Thurs. If you want to meet up, either early Thurs or afternoon/eve Thurs would be best. Call if you wanna. I work from 1.20-9 tomorrow & am off on W/TH so would love to meet up. For cheap eats try Matsuya where you can get ramen for less than 300 en.

Hi Ryan,
Got your message tonight. You did have the right number...I work until 9 on Tuesdays (sorta bummy) so I couldn't get your call. Thursday is def. good. Can meet you at the big honking gap in front of the station (facing Green Peas Pachinko). If there's something you wanna do, let me know. I'll find out where we can do it. I have yoga from 10:30-12 so let's plan on 1:30. I'll have my phone if you don't see me but it's hard to miss a gaijin such as myself. Nearly 6 feet of me makes it real real hard.

Hope slumming is going ok. Ganbatte!
