I just received word back from a French textbook company about wanting to use one of my images from the sourceforge page. They want to use the image atom.jpg, which is a picture of Adam spinning fire. They offered $120, but I need to consult with someone about standard fees for that sort of thing.
Now, knowing which image they had wanted, I went to test to see if the situation with 'crow' held for other images on that page since obviously they had found the image somehow.

The result? My photographs come up on the first results page for the following common words:

it's cause i link to that page and i have high google rank, i think.
(not that they aren't damn good photos)

perhaps. i tried checking to see what the pages that link to either the main further page or the backgrounds page were, and all that came up were your website and a slashdot post, both linking to the main page. also, the fact that not all of the images have the same high ranking is strange.

maybe you got my email and didn't see it (since i know you probably get a ton of mail), but do you think you could change the link on that backgrounds page to liscentric.com? i don't like directly attempting to advertise, but if peple are finding those images i'd at least like to have them be able to look onward.
