last night was beautiful.

First I went to find Chris at his friend Cameron's house, and then we found Scott. Scott told us about a poker game he was going to at Chris' friend Gareth's place. So, we went to play poker, $3 in, I won $3 and then left to go hang out with Piera who was a freshman at Reed this past year.

It took me a while to get to her place, but once I did we hung out for a while before we went up to the roof. I forgot to mention Piera lives 2 blacksblocks from Ground Zero. The entire construction site was visible. It was amazing to see the immensity, envision the true scale, and ponder over what the reality of the event must have been like. I couldn't quite fathom it all before, but I think I have a better grasp. We stayed up for a while, talking and confusing ourselves...Piera and I seem to have a hard time communicating sometimes, but nonetheless it was cool to hang out with her. For someone I can't say I know all that well, we had pretty interesting conversation.
I may go to the park now, I may not. I think I would have, but I missed my chance because Chris has been asleep all day and then I ate dinner with his family.

And well, the life will go on. What will be, will be.

"Piera lives 2 blacks from Ground Zero"

Wow, I didn't know that Portland was so lily-white that you could measure distance by the number of brothers in between. :P

A) I have DVORAK keyboard, so a and o are right next to each other. Fixing on the double.

B) I'm not in Portland right now, I'm in NYC. i.e.- Ground Zero.

It's fine, I'm just visiting, so I've really only been out of Portland for about three weeks. 1 in Seattle, almost 2 here.

also, I want to add

C) Yes, Portland is that lily white.
