Yesterday was the good and the bad

I had a sore throat the night before last and worked on art scholarship stuff until 5:30...then woke up with a really bad sore throat and went to our health center. I am pretty sure I don't have meningitis, but we'll play it safe and watch out.

The good news, which is maybe merely cool since being sick sucks so much worse than this is cool(although for a few minutes I felt a lot better), is that my digital/photo art prof wrote a grant to Apple, and they gave the school/department 6(I think that's how many) free iPods, and all Ethan has to do is write some report at the end of the semester! We are supposed to use them in our art to justify it, but I think that will be easy since my project I'm working on, which is also for the summer scholarship I applied for includes puitting sound and language along to my projection pieces. Whoot! Free iPod for the rest of the year! Also, if I'm lucky I'll be able to finagle it for the summer as well, since I was also told that the art dept. wants to hire me for the summer to do web stuff and I'm sure other things as well. : )

Ok, now to try to catch up for my fiction class tonight, I just hope half way through writing these things I don't just crave going back to sleep...I already missed last week's class because of my accident. : /
