So liz brought up this odd occurence on LiveJournal...

She said that all the girls were having their periods at the same time, which makes me wonder,

Can hormones be transmitted digitally? -or- Can hormones be affected by external perceptions?

Any thoughts?

Lime the tide and the moon, the earth is on a cycle, and everyone falls into step. Not all at the same time mind you but kind alike that row row row your boat thing, were someone sings it with you but starts right after the row row. Kinda like that! :)

the answer to your questions: yes and no!

ta da. aren't I fabulous? chicks' cycles are influenced by dominant females and I don't think that can be transferred well enough via the internet.

blah blah blah.. why do I talk???

yunicus: hmm

so do you mean girls on livejournal are having their periods at the same time??? cause i'm not having my period... BUT if you mean girls in your dorm are having their periods at the same time, that is something that happens when chixors live together.. it has something to do with the hormone release in one girl stimulating an earlier menstral cycle in other girls... over time cycles will be in synch... its kinna weird i guess, but i usually live with guys, so i haven't experienced this phenomenon for myself...

errmm... oops... i see what you are saying now..
i suppose it is possible for a persons hormones to be stimulated by reading something... kind of like stimulating the saliva response in dogs by making the noise of food going into their bowl with objects other than food...
hmm but i know that the journals i read are people that i see occassionaly, so maybe my previous post is applicable...
